This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of Oply (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and how we handle personal information that we collect through our website, mobile application, and any other sites or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

General Terms
Oply may be referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our.” We call a user of the Oply Services “User,” “Users,” “you,” “your,” or “Resident,” and “Third Party Service Provider,” as appropriate. As defined in our Terms of Service, a Resident is a user who uses our Services to retain, pay, and communicate with a “Third Party Service Provider” (hereinafter “Provider”). A Provider is the individual or company who provides the service to the Resident.

Personal Information We Collect
If you are a Resident, we collect your first and last name, email address, and your zip or postal code in order to create and administer your Resident account. We also collect additional information in order to facilitate your booking request, such as information about the service requested, the time, date and location of the service, and billing data.

If you are a Provider, we collect your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number and zip or postal code in order to create and administer your Oply account and facilitate communications between you and your Residents through the Oply Services. We also collect information about your services, rates, and skills, as well as financial information.

We may collect identity information such as date of birth and address, and other information as needed to validate your identity. To help Providers set up a payment account and help Residents make payments to Providers and pay fees to us, we may collect financial information including credit card numbers, bank routing numbers, tax information, and other payment information. This financial data is processed and stored by a third-party provider.

Other information you may provide includes content uploaded through the Services, feedback or correspondence, usage information, and marketing preferences.

We may also obtain information from third parties, including social media platforms, third-party login providers, marketing partners, data providers, and publicly available sources.

We and our service providers may automatically collect device data (such as operating system, browser type, IP address, and general location) and online activity data (such as pages viewed and interactions). We use cookies, local storage, and web beacons for this purpose.

How We Use Your Personal Information
We use your personal information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services; fulfill transactions; communicate with you; respond to requests; analyze and improve our Services; send service-related communications; and personalize your experience.

We may use your cell phone number to call or send recurring text messages, using an autodialer or prerecorded voice, to provide notifications, service reminders, and marketing messages (with your consent where required by law). Standard message and data rates may apply.

We may also use your information for marketing and advertising purposes, to comply with law, to protect against fraud and misuse, and to create aggregated or anonymous data.

Mobile Messaging (SMS/MMS) Terms
By providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive recurring and one-time SMS and MMS messages from Oply at that number, which may include transactional, service-related, and marketing or promotional messages. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Message frequency will vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we may send you a confirmation message to confirm you have been unsubscribed. You may also reply HELP for customer support. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. We may maintain information about your messaging preferences and opt-in/opt-out status to comply with applicable laws and industry standards.

How We Share Your Personal Information
We may share personal information with our corporate parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates. We may share information with third-party service providers who provide services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing. We may share information with advertising partners for interest-based advertising, with other users of the Services as necessary to facilitate services or resolve disputes, with professional advisors, and with others for compliance, fraud prevention, and safety. We may also share personal information as part of business transfers such as mergers or acquisitions.

Your Choices
If you have an account with us, you may access and update certain personal information through your account profile. You may opt out of marketing emails by following unsubscribe instructions or contacting us at support@oply.app. You may opt out of online tracking by adjusting your browser or device settings or using industry opt-out tools. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at info@oply.app. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law.

Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment information is handled according to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Other Sites and Services
Our Services may link to third-party sites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.

Security Practices
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, but no system is completely secure.

Children
Our Services are not intended for use by children under 16. If we learn we have collected information from a child without proper consent, we will delete it.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be effective when posted. If material changes are made, we may notify you by email or within the Services.
